Brian J. Gowdy

Brian Gowdy founded The Golf Travel Company. He passed away on the 28th of September 2008. Over the past ten years Brian has inspired everyone at the company to strive for excellence and continued success in the golf travel industry. While Brian’s spirit and great humour in the office will be sadly missed we, as a company, look to continue his legacy and offer our valued customers the Experience, Value, Quality and Service that will make your dream golf trip second to none. That was Brian’s vision and a philosophy we are proud to continue.

Mick Healy

Mick has been chasing the wee white ball since the age of 11 and some day vows to break 80 consistently... well, that will be his story by the time you chat to him in the 19th hole. Mick grew up under the shadow of Old Head in Cork, Ireland where fishing was the past time and the golf course was still a twinkle in some developer’s eye.

Mick has over 12 years of experience in the golf travel industry and presently serves as the Director of Sales where his energy and zest for the business ensures a quality service to our clients. His first hand knowledge of all our destinations and close relationship with hotels and golf courses guarantees that you have the best experience possible.
