2009 British Open
Turnberry
The oldest of the four major championships, the Open Championship
(aka the British Open), provides the perfect compliment to a
golf vacation to Scotland, Ireland, England or Wales. Through
the years there have been many memorable duels over Britain's
famous links—none more so than the Nicklaus v Watson battle
at Turnberry in 1977.
The Open will return to Turnberry in 2009
for the first time since 1994. Who can forget what happened there
last time with the memorable 50 foot putt by Nick Price on the
17th green, which left him only needing a par on the last to
win. The course has had a great history of hosting the Open Championship
with such distinguished past champions as Tom Watson and Greg
Norman. Turnberry’s Ailsa course is famous for one of the
greatest head-to-head showcases for golf in the game’s
history, where Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson went blow for blow
in the ‘Duel in the Sun’ until Watson finished one
shot clear of Nicklaus. Why not see the next great chapter in
golf history for yourself by attending the 2009 British Open
Championship?

2010 British Open
St. Andrews
The Open returns to The Home of Golf in
2010 for the first time
since Tiger Woods won it in 2005. Over the years we have seen
golfing greats like Bobby Jones, Sam Snead, Jack Nicklaus, Seve
Ballesteros and Tiger Woods, of course, make that timeless walk
across the Swilken Bridge as they wrote themselves into the Open
history books as past champions. The
Old Course is the most famous
course in the world and golf has been played on this site as
early as 1547.
Why not see the next great Open Champion at St.
Andrews for yourself by attending the 2010 British Open Championship?
