as where you play golf. The Golf Travel Co. offers a wide selection
of hotel options throughout England to satisfy our clients needs.
Where available, we try to offer a range of options. Please note
that all hotels we use include private bathrooms. All hotels are
regularly inspected by The Golf Travel Co. to insure a consistent
level of quality and service. Our Golf Tour Specialists will discuss
your options and recommend the appropriate hotel for your vacation.
In order to assist with your hotel selection please find a brief
description of each category we use:
FIRST CLASS: Properties in this category generally have
fewer amenities but are comfortably furnished, have a quality
level of service and are considered a great value. They are generally
3-Star properties.
SUPERIOR FIRST CLASS: Most accommodations in this category
are 4-Star rated and have an even higher level of service and
some additional in room and hotel amenities.
COUNTRY HOUSE: This category includes properties that
have a more unique and intimate setting. Each Country House in
this category possesses it's own distinctive characteristics.
They all offer a high level of service.
DELUXE: Hotels in this group provide the highest level
of service, superb room furnishings and offer the most on-site
amenities. They are predominantly 5-Star.

Superior First Class
Scarisbrick
Hotel (Southport). Ideally situated in the heart of Southport's
tree-lined main boulevard, this traditional hotel offers the discerning
visitor the highest standards of accommodation, cuisine and service.
Close to the Promenade, Floral Hall, Arts Center and only twelve
miles from the motorway network. The Scarisbrick has ninety well
appointed bedrooms, all recently refurbished, with en-suite facilities,

Cambridge
Town House Hotel (Southport). The warmest of welcomes, attention
to your needs and unobtrusive service all await you here. Cambridge
Town House Hotel offers a delightful environment with elegant
Victorian furniture combined with spacious rooms which are comfortable
and relaxing. Their friendly service and charming staff are all
that you would expect with a well run establishment. The lounge
is designed with the utmost care and attention, in the knowledge
that after a great day out guests would like to unwind in beautiful
relaxing surroundings. And for those who wish to chat over a drink
after a meeting or day on the golf course, there is a warm and

Deluxe
Crabwall
Manor (Chester). A traditional English country manor house
hotel set in eleven acres of beautiful Cheshire countryside overlooking
the historic City of Chester. Crabwall Manor has 48 spacious bedrooms,
all luxuriously appointed and individually designed with views
across to Chester and North Wales. It has a newly opened health
and fitness spa and a three AA Rossette award winning restaurant
with an extensive and admired wine selection. Connoisseur's
Tip: The nearby town of Chester is well worth a visit.

The
Belfry (near Birmingham). A beautiful, ivy-clad world-renowned
resort hotel, The Belfry enjoys an enviable reputation and is
set in its own landscaped gardens surrounded by two outstanding
golf courses including the famous Brabazon, home to the 1985,
1989, 1993 and 2002 Ryder Cups. It has a fully equipped leisure
club with swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, snooker room
and jogging trail. Four superb restaurants offer exquisite cuisine
from the gourmet French Restaurant to the more traditional Carvery.
Their five bars include the sophisticated Belfry Bar and the Spike
Bar located in the Golf Clubhouse. Located in the seclusion of
the grounds is the Bel-Air Night Club. Nearby are Warwick Castle

Superior First Class
Cumberland
Hotel (London). Conveniently located on the corner of Park
Lane and Oxford Street, adjacent to Marble Arch tube station,
the famous Cumberland Hotel offers quick easy access to all areas
of the West End. Its guests enjoy a wide range of facilities including
four restaurants and four bars. Connoisseur's

Country House
Franklin
Hotel (London). The Franklin is located in a secluded, tree-lined
garden-square right in the heart of Knightsbridge, two minutes
walk from Harrods. The hotel is under the same ownership as the
popular Egerton House. It's 50 air-conditioned bedrooms and suites
reflect an aura of understated elegance and discreet good taste.
Each room offers a blend of fine antiques and fine paintings,
complemented by traditional fabrics. All rooms have en-suite marble
bathrooms, two line direct-dial telephones with dataport, satellite
television and private bar. There are two drawing rooms overlooking
the gardens and an honor bar which is open 24 hours. The dining
room is very popular at breakfast time. Friendly and courteous

Berystede
Hotel (Ascot). Built in 1850, this Victorian Manor House has
been sympathetically modernized into a grand country hotel set
in nine acres of mature gardens and woodlands. Only five minutes
from the famous Ascot racecourse and fifteen minutes from Windsor.
It is also ideally located just a short drive from both Wentworth

The
Bell Hotel (Sandwich). Overlooking the historic Quay of the
ancient Cinque Port of Sandwich, The Bell Hotel offers traditional

its present site since the early 17th century, although an earlier
Bell Inn was certainly in existence in Sandwich from the 14th
